Azory, Portugalia

Dzisiaj rozpoczynam cykl “Azory 2016” na mojej stronie. W miarę możliwości będę zamieszczać galerie z wakacyjnego wyjazdu na Azory, portugalskie wyspy położone na środku Oceanu Atlantyckiego i oddalone o ok. 1,5 tys. km od wybrzeża Portugalii. W ciągu nieco ponad 2 tygodni odwiedziłam wschodnią grupę wysp: główną Sao Miguel ze stolicą Azorów - miastem Ponta Delgada oraz Santę Marię (będę posługiwać się rozpowszechnionym angielsko-hiszpańskim nazewnictwem).

W odróżnieniu od “objazdówek”, teraz miałam czas, żeby nacieszyć się wieloma miejscami i w ciągu tych dwóch tygodni wracałam do nich kilkukrotnie, jak np. port i falochrony w Ponta Delgada czy Sete Cidades. Dzięki temu nie musiałam spieszyć się z fotografowaniem, tylko mogłam poczekać na odpowiedni moment. Mimo wszystko i tak zrobiłam mnóstwo zdjęć i teraz głowię się nad wyborem najlepszych ujęć. Jak zwykle :) Efekty będziecie mogli podziwiać już wkrótce.

Today I begin a series of “Azores 2016” on my website. As far as possible I will post galleries from my holiday trip to the Azores, the Portuguese islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, 1.500 km far from the coast of Portugal. Over two weeks, I visited the eastern group of islands: the main Sao Miguel with the capital of the Azores - Ponta Delgada and Santa Maria (I use the common English-Spanish names).

Unlike the round trips organised by travel agencies, now I had time to enjoy my favourite places and during two weeks I returned to them several times, e.g. harbour and breakwaters in Ponta Delgada or Sete Cidades. As a result, I didn’t have to hurry with the shooting, I could wait for the right moment. Nevertheless, I took a lot of pictures and now I’ve got problems with the selection of the best shots.
